Emily dropped in for a few days the other week after a business-related trip in Portland. As usual, we had a great visit! We explored Bend a bit eating lunches at local restuarants and made great meals at home in the evening (Emily had some fantastic ideas!). She also accompanied us to AnnCarter's 4 month well visit at the doctors. Carter is doing well but still a little thing--only 12 lbs. 3 oz. (after being born 8 lbs 13 oz.!). And she's long (in the 90th percentile for height), but the doctor did not seem to be concerned about her weight, she's still a thriving baby. So now we just have to decide when to start solids, yet another issue that there is so many opinions about!
