Here are a few pictures of our baby girl! Most people thought that we were going to have a boy (our entire office voted that we'd have a boy the day we had the ultrasound except for 2 people), but we are so excited to have a girl. Experiencing the ultrasound was pretty amazing--it's incredible all you can see and check out. I have to say our technician did not have the best people skills--he told us the gender very abruptly...but everything is progressing well and she is healthy! As of this week, I'm halfway through the pregnancy which is strange to think. February seems far away, yet time is going very quickly. The morning after the ultrasound, I was getting ready for work and suddenly wished that the baby was here so that I could play with her :-) At the same time, I'm glad we have a few more months to prepare.
She is beautiful! It is so amazing to be able to see her hidden in your womb and to know the Lord is knitting her for His very own. I love this verse from Isaiah 40:11 and it is my prayer for you and Marshall..."He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young." Amen.
